I Thought It Was Warm In Here Today...
And so it is! When I started up my computer today the Weatherbug icon in the bottom right of my screen said 144 degrees in bright red letters. Despite the fact that Weatherbug flashes constant warnings on my computer screen for anything from 10+ mph winds to drizzle, I was a bit surprised to not see a warning that said, "Do not go outside! You will burn alive!"
According to the stats on the Weatherbug page, today's high and lows so far have been 144 and 124 degrees, respectively. Pretty strange considering they were expected to be 52 and 38 degrees. The end of the world is upon us folks. Get out the SPF 75, you're going to need it.

too much of that wacky tabaccy.
zdkiah!
i hate weatherbug. that's on my sister's computer and it just never stops chirping or whatever. i don't understand why everyone doesn't stomp on this bug, for good.
dan, the sad thing is that most of the people with this resource-hog (dubbed "weather bug") installed on their machine have windows right next to them.
i am impervious to the weather, and as such, have no use for such silly applets. yes, i said applet; its code isn't even worthy of the designation "program."
